Isle of Man Signs DTA with Bahrain and TIEA with India

February 2011 has seen further developments in the Isle of Man's move towards greater international tax transparency and tax partnerships through the signature of a Tax Information Exchange Agreement (TIEA) with India and a double taxation agreement (DTA) with Bahrain.  Both agreements meet the OECD model of international tax standards on transparency and effective exchange of information.

The Isle of Man has now entered into 23 agreements meeting OECD criteria of which 19 are TIEAs and 4 are Double Taxation Agreements.  Full versions of the India and Bahrain agreements can be viewed by following the respective links.
